The Berlin Wall East Side Gallery is a 1.3km-long section of the wall near the center of Berlin. Approximately 106 paintings by artists from all over the world cover this memorial for freedom and make it the largest open air gallery in the world.

The Artists Initiative (Künstlerinitiative) East Side Gallery e.V. site is the only officially endorsed web site with the sole purpose of supporting and preserving this unique gallery as a memorial for freedom.
The East Side Gallery site contains photos of some of the over 100 paintings that were completed in 1990 as well as one of the most extensive set of links to other Berlin Wall sites.
